When will my order ship

We aim to ship out your order as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours of payment receipt. Orders placed on weekends and local holidays will begin processing the following business day. 

Once processed, packages will ship from our warehouse, located in The Netherlands.

How long time will it take for my order to arrive?

We carefully pack each order before dispatch to ensure you are getting a quality product. The timeframe of receiving an order depends on your address. Shipping to international destinations variates.

The Netherlands: next business day
EU: 1-5 business days
USA and Canada: 4 -5 business days
Asia: 4 -5 business days
Other countries: approx. 8-10 business days 

Please note, the above delivery times are merely an indication, and they might be longer owing to rough weather, holidays and other busy periods.

It is possible to follow your order with a tracking number. You will receive an email when your package has been shipped including the expected arrival date.

Shipping rate and order picking

We provide standard order picking and shipping rates for the Netherlands and Europe regardles volume and weight of your order:

The Netherlands | 15 euro per order
EU | 25 euro per order

For the rest of the world our shipping rates are based on the weight of products ordered. The rate will be calculated upon placing products in your shopping bag. If you would like to know your shipping costs you simply hit the shopping bag. Select country and enter your zip code in the field “calculate shipping costs”. You may update the calculation at any time while shopping online.

Please note that we are not responsible for extra fees for out-of-area postcodes. We sent the order DAP (Delivered At Place) delivery” which means: The buyer is responsible for import clearance and any applicable local taxes or import duties.

International shipment

The value of international shipped packages will be declared for the full order amount. DELIGHT DEPARTMENT is not responsible for any additional fees charged by the postal service and/or customs upon arrival.

These fees are not included in the cost of shipping. We are obligated to declare all items as merchandise, and will not mark items as "gift". We cannot be liable for any delays due to packages held at customs.  

We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen packages once we have tendered to the carrier.

What happens if I refuse the delivery, or I am not home to accept the delivery? 

All carriers will charge a fee to return the package to the sender. Since we shipped the package on your behalf, you will be liable for the return shipping fees if you refuse delivery, or if an attempt has been made multiple times by the carrier with no success.

I never received an order confirmation - did you receive my order? 

After confirming your order you will receive a confirmation via email, addressed to the account you used to pay for the purchase. Please check your spam or junk mail folder if you don't receive a confirmation within an hour of making your purchase. If you do not receive a confirmation, your transaction may not have been completed.

Oops, wrong shipping address

Please make sure that your shipping address is correct before you submit your order. After confirming your order it is too late to make changes. If the package is returned by the carrier, we will be happy to re-ship to a new address, but the customer will be responsible for costs of the re-ship charges.

Can I cancel the whole order? 

Once you have confirmed your order we are unable to 'undo' the process. Please be sure that you wish to place the order before confirming the purchase. Please read “Returns, Refunds & Exchanges”

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

We want you to be happy with everything you buy from DELIGHT DEPARTMENT. If our products are damaged and/ or you received a wrong item you may return them to us within 14 days after delivery of your order for replacing products. Goods must be received in original condition and packaging with all components intact. Please use our “return document” for correct procedure . Ensure that you include full order details otherwise process may be delayed. Shipment costs shall remain for the customer's account.
